SpamEater.com has been in service since March 2003, and has grown slowly and surely out of customers' feature requests. It has evolved into something quite different from what was originally planned, and different from other anti-spam products as well. For example: It may seem odd, but nobody has asked for a web-mail interface or throw-away addresses, they just want their mail as it is, except without spam. They insisted on a personal blacklist, though! and they hate viruses. They like the mobile phones access, too.

After nearly two years, 9/10 subscribers are still customers! The testimonials page is filled with enthusiastic responses. There has been little advertising yet (only Google adsense), most subscribers come through "word of mouth".

The Spam Eater has been a very effective tool for handling our spam problem. With any anti-spam solution, you are always trying to strike a compromise between letting spam through and falsely labeling good email as spam. I love my spam eater. Consumer Reports magazine apparently did an article on anti-spam software recently. They had a blurb about it on the TV news (ABC evening news) two nights ago. Maybe you should send them a press kit or something as I'm sure it works better than any client based software.

...I have been trying to evade spam for a couple years and have tried just about everything. This program is the closest thing to perfection I have seen yet. I think that with a little tweaking, perfection could be had! My computer would then become an impenatrable vault to spammers...

I have had the same e-mail address for 8 years, I think, and my address in on my web sites, so you can imagine how much spam I get. I was considering changing my e-mail address but wanted to try something else before I did....

Have you thought of contacting an ISP to sell your service to them? I think you could get a nice monthly income by getting a couple bucks from everyone on a server, multiplied by all the providers that could use this...wow!

Do I get a commission if I sell this to my ISP? If you played this out right, you could go down in history as the guy that killed spam. Your cause is noble.

I go way back on computers, started with DOS 2.1, and the most frustrating thing ever is this spam junk. Your system is a God send. I was in Istanbul, and used my ISP's remote log in system [In Virginia, USA!]to get my email and was spared all the junk because of your program. It would have been a nightmare for me otherwise.

Having used about half a dozen anti spam packages over the last 5 or 6 years how refreshing to find Spam Eater. So far its about 98% efficient at blocking spam and 100% efficient at letting my good mail through. I look forward to my future with Spam Eater. I want to THANK YOU BIG TIME for your invention. Until a week ago when I started using it, I was getting up to 30 SPAM email messages per day! I found myself avoiding checking my emails because it felt like I had to cross through a sleasy section of the city to arrive at my office. Low vibration get-rich-quick-schemes, porn that degrades human love & sexuality & women, circulation letter and jokes that will pay me if I forward them and condemn if I don’t… the list goes on. Wow. This is a great service.

I have not gotten one single spam email since I started your free trial 4 days ago. I'm recommending this to all my friends. One thing I'd like to critize though. Your instructions don't explain that before you check your email through Outlook Express you have to log in at the website first and check it. I couldn't figure out why I was still getting spam the first time I tried it and then I figured out you have to first check your mail at the website and then go to Outlook Express to received your email. If this is explained I could not easily find or understand it. When I did figure it out I became very impressed. Thanks and thanks for keeping the monthly price at a level where everyone can afford it!

[Jason normally got 600 junk emails per week! It's a good idea to log in and train your filters before downloading your email, especially in the first week or so. ]
